What the job includes
Full sand-down
The old finish and the wear come off completely. Damaged boards are assessed honestly before we start.
Color and finish
Keep the current tone or change it. A refinish is the moment to update the color of your floors without replacing them.
Minimal dust, clean exit
Dust is kept to a minimum and the floors are left clean. We get in, get done, get out.

What it costs
Refinishing is priced by square footage and the condition of the wood. It typically runs a fraction of the cost of replacement, which is exactly why we recommend it when the wood can take it.
We measure in person and give you a firm number before any work starts. Deposit up front, balance at completion.

How do I know if my floors can be refinished?
Most solid hardwood can be sanded several times over its life. We confirm during the in-home visit by looking at the wear and the thickness of the wood.
Can I change the color of my floors?
Yes. Once the old finish is sanded off, the stain is your choice. We help you pick a tone that suits the home.
Will refinishing cover deep damage?
Sometimes. Deep gouges or water-damaged boards may need replacing before the refinish. We tell you before work starts, not after.
